N-trig, providers of DuoSense solution combining pen and capacitive multi-touch in a single device, today brings Hands-on computing as an option on the Dell Studio 17 laptop. The Dell Studio 17’s multi-touch solution is a true four-point touch interface that enables a broader span of software capabilities, user collaboration, and fun for the whole family.

Combing the N-trig DuoSense solution with native multi-touch support in Microsoft Windows 7 enables consumers to experience hands-on functionality and collaborative computing. The optional multi-touch capabilities in the Studio 17 notebook take user-computing to new levels, resulting in a more fun, intuitive and accessible computing experience. The multi-touch capabilities enhance a wealth of online activities and applications such as games, web activities and social media, for users to interact individually or with friends.

With its expansive 17.3-inch HD display, the Studio 17 laptop is the perfect desktop replacement that also offers portability as needed. It is an ideal device for software vendors to create innovative and exciting new multi-touch applications.

“By combining our solution with a 17 inch screen on a laptop, we are establishing a new standard not only for multi-touch but in how users approach using a computer,” says Amichai Ben David, CEO, N-trig. “With multi-touch becoming more widespread in the marketplace, consumers now have more opportunities to experience different ways in which to interact directly with their computer, whether working on a project, surfing online or playing games, taking the user’s computing experience to entirely new levels.”
