LawnStarter, the Easiest Way to Order and Manage Lawn Care, Launches in Austin

LawnStarter LogoLawnStarter, a company that makes ordering lawn care easy, affordable and reliable, today announced the launch of its operations in Austin, TX. With its sophisticated online lawn care booking and management system, LawnStarter is bringing a traditionally offline service online, empowering customers to book and manage all of their lawn care needs at their convenience.

“When you think of the lawn care industry, words like simple, reliable, friendly, and technology don’t come to mind,” says Steve Corcoran, one of the founders. That’s where LawnStarter comes in. LawnStarter’s platform matches consumers who are looking for lawn care with a provider that offers that services in their area. With a few clicks on the website, customers can get an estimate for any yard work they need done, and within a couple of days, there will be a carefully screened landscaping company taking care of their yard work. Additional services can be ordered with a single click, updates are given anytime there are weather delays, and all of the contractors they work with are experts in local lawn care.

For the contractors on LawnStarter, the technology provides the customer price estimates and manages online booking and payment between the two parties. The LawnStarter team also takes care of customer service via their online portal, over the phone or through email.

After a successful launch in DC, LawnStarter was accepted into the Techstars program and relocated to Austin in early June. Since then, the team has developed partnerships with national chains was well as local professional lawn care contractors, and the company is ready to launch its full scale operations in Austin.

“We created LawnStarter to meet the demand for a better way to order, manage and pay for professional lawn care services. I couldn’t be more excited to be launching LawnStarter in Austin, the fastest growing city in the U.S. With its tech savvy population, we think Austinites will really appreciate the convenience factor of LawnStarter,” said Steve Corcoran.

Today, LawnStarter manages over 100 properties in the DC area and plans to begin in Austin and scale to the entire South West region of the US by next summer.

Beginning today, Austin area residents will be able to order and manage their lawn care needs online. LawnStarter’s initial coverage areas includes the following neighborhoods: All Austin areas, Buda, Cedar Park, Circle C, Dripping Springs, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Jollyville, Kyle, Lakeway, Marble Falls, Round Rock, San Marcos, and Spicewood.
