Famigo on HTC One M8 Provides Child-Approved Apps On The Go

FamigoFamigo, a company providing safer experiences for children on mobile devices, is now available pre-installed on the HTC One M8 on the AT&T network. The next-generation HTC One Android phone unveiled this spring, providing families with access to Famigo on their M8 the ability to enjoy family-and child-approved apps, games and videos in a locked, child-friendly digital environment.

Equipped with a child security lock that allows kids to enjoy safer mobile content with minimal risk of accidental purchases, ad clicks or unsupervised browsing, Famigo is the one-stop destination for families who need to engage their children on an M8. Children can watch ad-free, educational and fun videos; play games and explore online in a family friendly Web browser. The pre-installation provides families instant access to quality media for kids, regardless of where they are.

“The HTC One M8 is one of the best smartphones on the market today. We wanted to make sure that all of the families using one have the best possible opportunity to keep their kids educated and entertained,” said Famigo CEO and co-founder Q Beck. “Famigo is already available on the LG G Flex and LG G2 phones and in select 2015 automobiles, and we’re excited to add the M8 to our family of mobile devices.”

The M8 joins a variety of other devices on the Famigo Approved™ network, which has a goal of promoting children’s safety on mobile devices. In addition to HTC, strategic partners include: AT&T, Intellijoy, Loud Crow Interactive, Mobile MUM, Tipitap, 22learn, iDeaUSA and United Way for Greater Austin.
