Affinegy’s Simpler and Lancaster Named to Top 100 Wireless Technology Experts by Today’s Wireless World

Affinegy LogoTodaysWirelessWorld.com, a highly respected e-magazine that has been reporting on the wireless technology industry for almost a decade, has named Affinegy CEO Melissa Simpler and CTO Art Lancaster to its list of the top 100 most influential wireless technology experts for 2014.

Affinegy (www.affinegy.com) is a global provider of service enablement software and connected device management solutions under the product brand of CHARIOT – accelerant for the Internet of Things.

The editors for TodaysWirelessWorld.com compiled this first list by searching for technology innovators and business leaders all across the wireless ecosystem, including the burgeoning area of the “Internet of Things” (IoT) and “Machine-to-Machine” (M2M) communications. The editors then conducted interviews with industry sources to refine and vet the list to best reflect an elite group of Wireless WavemakersTM who:

Are technology drivers and thought leaders in their given area of focus and have demonstrated extensive expertise
Offer dynamic and innovative solutions to address various wireless technology challenges
Contribute their skills to an important/impactful organization within the wireless industry
Influence the future development of wireless technologies

“Melissa, and Art exemplify what it means to be a leader and innovator in this space,” said Clay Zeigler, Editor of TodaysWirelessWorld.com. “They have been instrumental in positioning Affinegy as a major player in the IoT movement.”
Simpler said the company’s focus on security and scalability has led to its emergence and early active roles in organizations, such as the AllSeen Alliance, which is bent on making the Internet of Everything a reality. “The recognition of us isn’t so much about what we have accomplished individually as much as what we have accomplished as a team,” said Simpler.
