SailPoint Surpasses $100 Million in Revenue

SailPoint today announced it has surpassed $100 million in GAAP revenue since first delivering SailPoint IdentityIQ, an innovative next-generation identity and access management (IAM) solution, to the market in 2007. The company has maintained its steady climb over multiple years – posting a 5x increase in revenue and bookings, tripling its customer base and more than tripling its headcount – and is rapidly becoming one of the industry’s largest independent IAM vendors.

Hundreds of the world’s largest organizations rely on SailPoint’s integrated IAM suite for superior visibility into and control over user access to sensitive applications and data. SailPoint actively works with these customers to deliver industry-leading quality of service in order to achieve joint success. In a recent customer satisfaction survey, 9 out of 10 customers reported they would actively recommend SailPoint to other companies. To further extend its track record of customer service and innovation, the company is investing heavily in research and development as well as sales, services, and support personnel throughout its worldwide locations. SailPoint recently opened corporate offices in Australia and South Africa, and now has one of the largest, dedicated IAM teams with more than 300 employees across nine countries.

“Our continuous commitment to innovation and customer service has fueled our market success and rapid growth. We’re laying a very strong foundation for the next phase of the company’s growth and development,” said Mark McClain, founder and CEO of SailPoint. “Since our inception, we’ve built market-leading products that are used by the world’s largest companies, assembled a team that is laser-focused on customer success, and built a partner network of more than 60 channel and delivery companies around world. Our global community of customers, employees and partners are all committed to extending our leadership position in IAM. It’s a very exciting time for all of us.”

According to the UK-based analyst firm Ovum, which recently evaluated SailPoint’s products and market presence, “SailPoint is one of the faster-growing organizations within the IAM sector.” Ovum further asserted that SailPoint’s “growth figure was more than double that of its nearest competitor and has been a strong measure of the company’s success for the last three years.” (source: Ovum IAM Decision Matrix, 2013)
