Do any of our intrepid readers have any inside scoop on SilverCar? According to the Texas State Securities Board, the company raised $3M of a planned $11M round of financing from Austin Ventures. According to Indeed, they’re looking to hire a couple tech folks.
Uber has the black car service, but it sure would be nice to have the same high-tech service in a longer term rental, rather than just a trip. I personally love the Car2Go service, but it doesn’t always project the image I’m looking for.
