SXSW Voting Ends Friday Noon

The first round of voting for panels for the 2011 SXSW festival ends tomorrow (Friday) at Noon central time.

For the first time, I’ve submitted a panel idea and it made it to this first round. The idea revolves around how to make big business systems more like the fun and interesting Web 2.0 social systems (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr) that we all know and love. Why can work be as engaging and simple as using Facebook? We get all kinds of things done in our social lives like creating events, tagging photos, commenting and idea sharing (these are all forms of coordinating effort and collaborating), and we do it without any training.

I’ve got commitments from CEO’s, founders, and geniuses at companies like Jive and Yammer to be on the panel and talk about real customer success stories, and to discuss why it’s so hard to be social in the enterprise.

Please take 5 seconds to give my panel a “thumbs up” or if you want to contribute ideas, please take 2 minutes to comment.

You can see all the panel submissions submitted by Dachis Group if you want more insight on how we think about the business of being social.

If you’re based in Austin, and you’ve got a panel in the picker, please use the comments below to tell everyone about your panel.
