Live Oak 360 has added BearHug, a new customer care tool, to its arsenal of online solutions, Andy Meadows, the firm’s chief executive officer said.
“Our company has always felt very strongly about taking care of our customers, and we spend a lot of time and money trying to do the best we can with the resources available,” Meadows said about his reason for developing BearHug. “As our business has grown over the past eight years, we have started to outgrow the tools, applications, and services that we use to take care of our growing customer base. After spending months looking for the right solution, we came to the conclusion that there is a definite gap in the space of customer care solutions.”
BearHug is the third Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) application developed at Live Oak 360. Meadows and his team previously developed Budurl and EZ.com. Businesses who wish to test the new customer care suite can do so by visiting GetBearHug.com.
Meadows said he and his team designed and built BearHug as a new suite of tools that is crafted specifically for small businesses who are tired of struggling with what he termed “complicated applications and complex licensing and customization fees required by larger vendors.” He added BearHug can be brought online in minutes, is easy to use, and will demonstrate its value in minutes.
“Our new application is fully hosted and managed, continually evolving, and everyone can use it,” he said.
“When someone ends a support conversation with you, do they feel happy, joyful, or excited?,” the Live Oak 360 executive added. “Think about how you feel after a good, warm hug. That’s what real customer service should feel like – each and every time. That is why we chose BearHug to represent our customer care solution”
Meadows said his application will add new modules in the coming months. The first module, Pulse, gives customers status updates and ties directly to SMS messaging, RSS, email, and Twitter. The next module will provide a public question-and-answer system in a collaborative environment. The Live Oak 360 executive said his firm will roll out more modules in the months ahead. Pricing for the new application ranges from $19 per month for a three-person license to $199 per month for an enterprise-level option.
In addition to its newest online application, the Austin-based company has also created Budurl and Ez.com, two online URL shortening tools for social media applications.
