Meet CEO's With Major Recent Exits

texchange-speakersThe February 17th meeting of the Austin chapter of Texchange will be a milestone in two ways. First, we will have three incredible CEO’s who have all recently had major financial events in their company. Secondly, this will be the first Texchange “crowdsourced” event agenda. If you are a Texchange member please register for the event. If you’re not a member, and you’re a technology executive or entrepreneur, please apply now (and let me know via email). It’s inexpensive, and huge value.

So who are these gentlemen on the left?

Rod Favaron, CEO Lombardi Software

Lombardi is a well known technology company in Austin. They have been innovators in the Business Process Management market for years, and were recently acquired by International Business Machines (IBM) for an undisclosed amount. The company employs 200 people, with 120 of those being in Austin.

Joel Trammell, CEO of NetQoS

Joel and his wife, Dr. Cathy Fulton, founded NetQoS 10 years ago with the idea that as the internet grows data centers would consolidate, and performance management and quality of service were going to be vital to help manage network congestion. Recently the company sold to Computer Associates (CA) for $200M in cash.

Craig Malloy, CEO of Lifesize Communications

You may have read in the news that Lifesize was recently acquired by industry leader Logitech for $405M. That’s going from founding (2003) to massive amounts of value in just six years. In addition, the company has been revolutionizing the videoconferencing industry with unprecedented quality, and an amazing vision for personal communications.

What questions will our panelists get asked? Only you and your votes can decide.
