AustinStartup.com Refresh

This morning we launched a redesign of AustinStartup.com incorporating a lot of the feedback we have received from the community since overhauling it last year. With SXSW 2010 just around the corner we felt it was the ideal time to push out the new design. Please let us know if you run into any bugs, and expect more changes over the next few weeks as we tighten up the design and add a few of the features missing from the old site.

The most common request we heard was the ability to quickly access the most recent articles published. While the previous design did a great job of featuring notable items of the week, finding and browsing through the most recent posts was a little more troublesome. The new design returns to a more traditional blog format however, we also felt it was important to continue our featured section for news and events that deserve more attention. In addition, secondary features like the job board are now accessible from the main navigation and no longer hidden along the side bar.

Thank you for helping us make AustinStartup.com your resource for local technology news. Please leave feedback in the comments below.
