Stealthy Austin startup Socialware has raised $1.5M of a planned $1.7M round of financing, according to regulatory filings. Previously the company had raised $300,000 in June from G-51 Capital. With Silverton Partners Morgan Flager listed as one of the company’s board members, signs would point to Silverton as one of the sources of recent funding. Company founders Chris Richter and Cameron Cooper were formerly executives at Austin-based Bazaarvoice.

Company executives could not be reached for comment, but it is known that the company is creating technologies that help enterprises manage and analyze social media.
