Pyxis LogoPyxis Technology is an Austin-based Electronic Design Automation (EDA) vendor, which helps chip companies design their chips faster and better. Over a year ago we reported on the company’s $5.25M Series B, and now they’ve raised another $3M from most of the same investors, such as Austin Ventures, CMEA Ventures, Formative Ventures, and KT Venture Group. This brings the total amount of capital raised to $23M according to reports. Don’t start sending in your resume quite yet, as the company won’t be using the money to ramp up the staff. This is according to Lori Hawkins story in the Statesman. The funds appear to be earmarked for launching a new product. Congrats to the Pyxis team!
