Create Your Own Games With GameSalad

We’ve been hearing about what Gendai Games has been tossing together, and now the Alpha is available over at the GamesSalad website.  It’s alpha veresion 0.4.1 but you can probably get a good idea of what it is like to create your own games.  When we heard Michael Agustin, CEO of GendaiGames, talk about his vision, one of the most interesting things is his idea for a Portable Game Format (PGF). Similar to a PDF, a PGF would allow you to packup and play your game on any system.

The driving vision for the company is the concept that it should take as long to create your own custom game as it does to create a salad. The alpha is currently available on Mac only, and it’s going to be a while before GameSalad comes to your Windows machine.
