Boundless Continues Acquisitions

Boundless Network, a technology-enabled branded merchandise distributor, announced today that it has acquired Texas distributor Corporate Specialties.

Started in 1985 by Carol Stone, Dallas-based Corporate Specialties is a 20-year member of the “Multi-Million Dollar Roundtable,” an Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) designation honoring distributors with annual sales of more than $2 million.

“Corporate Specialties represents one of the promotional industry’s top brands,” said Boundless Network CEO Jason Black. “The Corporate Specialties partnership is a great example of how the Boundless support platform helps branded merchandise professionals reach their goals in this tough economic climate. Today, providing a winning solution to a company’s branded merchandise needs, backed by a cost-saving platform, is key to retaining customers. By joining Boundless, Carol Stone and team are in a strong position to continue building on their history of success.”

“In this economy, we need a partner who can help us demonstrate that we offer strategic marketing and branding value to our clients—instead of a product solution that is common to the promotional products industry,” said Carol Stone. “Boundless’ use of technology to make salespeople more efficient and save clients money is new to this industry—and we are already seeing positive results in our business.”

In 2009, Boundless Network plans to continue recruiting top independent promotional professionals, while acquiring top promotional products distributors with revenues between $2 million and $10 million that are located in key regions throughout the country. In three years Boundless Network has grown from two to more than 150 employees; 70 are located in Austin. During the past 12 months, the company has completed eight acquisitions as part of a successful nationwide expansion from a single location to 18 regional offices located coast-to-coast.
