What is the rule regarding founding members. If one member is based in Austin, and the other based in Silicon Valley, will the application be accepted? If yes, what months would west coaster need to be in Austin?

To say that there is a selection formula is overstating it. We just want to know where you are today, and we don't care if your stage is "two guys in a garage."

How does "Stage of Company" weigh in the selection formula?

David, there are 10 finalists but only 3 companies will be selected for the 10-week program. We're modest in our goals for the first year, but hope to expand the program in future years.

Bryan, this sounds like a great program for early stage start-ups. It's a shame, however, that it will only scale to 10 finalists. My guess is that many of the applicants would benefit from the mentoring.
