Here’s a summary of some of the local tech news here in Austin today.

• Convio rolled out some new functionality today that helps support non-profits that operate through an affiliate model (we’re thinking like state and local chapters of the Red Cross and such).
• Bazaarvoice has added Cars.com to it’s growing list of the top internet retailers.
• HomeAway research has discovered that the vacation rental business is a $24B industry. Perhaps they knew it was big, but didn’t know it was this big.

And in the non-tech department, did we mention that the Longhorns BCS ranking is .998, just two thousandths away from perfect?
