SXSW Panel Picker is Up!

The Panel Picker is back! SXSW wants to know who you want to see on a panel at SXSW Interactive in 2009. The folks at the festival are interested in your feedback, although your votes are not binding, and who knows what sort of cool new stuff could happen between now and March! Officially your votes count for 30% of the decision-making regarding what panels to support. At least count there are 1,199 panels proposed. Perhaps someone will come up with a guide to the best panels, so that we don’t have to read 1200 summaries.

There are many local Austinites that have panels proposed including Bijoy Goswami, Hall Martin, Kevin Koym, Bill Leake, Matt Cohen, Jason Reneau, Tom Serres, David Altounian, Joshua Baer, and Thom Singer.

We’re going to take the discussion around panels to our new room on Friendfeed (http://friendfeed.com/rooms/austinstartup).

Voting closes Aug 29th, so make your voice heard soon!

A shift is occurring in the world of politics. Our discussion will probe this idea, offering a glimpse into the future of global politics.
