SmarteSoft Lands $2M

SmarteSoft raised $2M from Daylight Partners and the Central Texas Angel Network, according to recent news reports. Smartesoft’s test automation technologies enable non-technical users to completely develop test suites from scratch. The functional and performance test products are designed for extreme speed of implementation, and do not require any programming or scripting skills. Customers range from start-up to Fortune 500 companies, and include American Airlines, Emerson Process, Thermo Electron, and Posera Software.

“We are pleased to have the participation of the Central Texas Angel Network,” said Gordon MacGregor, CEO of SmarteSoft Inc. “We are greatly benefiting from the expertise and relationships that our new investors bring to SmarteSoft. This investment will support the rapid expansion of our reseller network, as we continue to bring out new products and help our growing list of customers succeed in their test automation goals.”
