The Austin chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, in conjunction with Innotech Austin, is looking for nominations for four technology awards. Winning nominations will be recognized at the Oct. 16 Innotech Conference.
	Scott Foster , the Austin AITP president, said his organization are seeking nominations for the following awards:
	2008 IT Executive of the Year – Private Sector;
	2008 IT Executive of the Year – Public Sector
	2008 Information Technologist of the Year. According to Fraser, this award is focused on recognizing the top Austin area chief technology officer.
	2008 IT Solution of the Year.   The Austin AITP president said this is a new award for his association and the Innotech conference.
 	&quot;This is the the tenth year of the &quot;IT Professional of the Year&quot; Awards. The Austin Chapter of the National Association of Information Technology Professionals(AITP)has been leading and educating Austin&#039;s senior technology talent since 1954. We are proud of our effort to recognize our IT leaders who in today&#039;s fast-paced technology environment are responsible for educating their people and fostering innovation all while keeping an eye on their bottom line. IT leaders are the ultimate multi-taskers.&quot;
