He’s the favored cartoonist of bloggers, technologists, social media junkies, and many of us just plain folks. He says he developed his style many years ago, and you can spot it a mile away. It’s very distictive, and it’s definitely Hugh MacLeod.

He’s got the elevator pitch down. When people ask him what he does, he says “cartoons drawn on the back of business cards.” Too bad we all can’t get our elevator pitch down that tight. You can get his cartoons on the front of your cards, too. He comes to Austin every once in a while, which is always a great reason for a Tweetup. He graduated from UT, but he’s currently calling Alpine, Texas his home (just a stone’s throw from Marfa).

Check out this recent cartoon, with two characters discussing a move to Austin. We thought we’d share it with you, for those who weren’t familiar with his work.
