SolarWinds announced the newest version of their ipMonitor software today. The new version has a large variety of new features that are intended to make it more attractive to the Small and Medium Business (SMB) market. New features include SmartMonitor technology, networking mapping capability, and out-of-the-box support for Active Directory, Exchange, MS SQL Server, FTP, IMAP, and more. “Our SMB customers have been asking for an easy-to-use network monitoring solution that can help simplify and automate network monitoring across all of their network assets,” said Kenny Van Zant, chief product strategist at SolarWinds. “Today we are delivering on that request with the release of ipMonitor version 9.0, which leverages enterprise-class functionality from other SolarWinds products, including advanced mapping capabilities and a graphic-based web interface, at a competitive price point.”
