PluckRumors are swirling around the internet today that Austin-based Pluck is up for sale. The number being thrown about is $75M. Doug at WebProNews speculates on the possibility of a deal, as does Rafat at PaidContent.org. Over at TowerOne.org they’re speculating that Microsoft could be a potential buyer. After investing around $17M, selling for $75M is only a 5x deal for venture investors. It’s better than ZEROx, but certainly not the big cash-in that they had hoped for a company that is supposed to be a social media play.

A TechCrunch posting is certainly not far behind, and their VC-backed researchers and reporters will certainly have more details.
