LifeSize Embraces It's Green Qualities

Lifesize LogoLifeSize announced it’s PlanetWise initiative today, an environmental initiative to promote green technologies. They also announced their partnership with The Climate Group. As part of the green program, LifeSize conducted an internal audit of company operations to measure their carbon footprint. LifeSize is dedicated to being an environmentally friendly company, and our commitment starts with our own operations, said Craig Malloy, LifeSize CEO. With our audit complete, we can implement practices to help minimize, monitor and continually improve our environmental performance as we grow to be the market leader in our industry.

The LifeSize video conferencing system can be used to avoid jet and car travel, which saves on carbon emissions. One airplane trip from Austin to Chicago can emit enough carbon to erase a year of carbon savings from driving a hybrid, recycling, and using efficient lighting.
