EEStor Makes Nice with Lockheed and Mort Topfer

We were hearing rumors that the relationship between EEStor and Mort Topfer was on the rocks, which would be a huge loss for EEStor. But today they released news and made it official that Mort has joined the Board of Directors. The release goes on to say that they have 1 patent issued with 17 more in process. Our sources tell us that their offices are locked up tighter than a drum. It’s like Austin’s very own Area 51.

What pushes the needle further toward the “EESTor is the Real Deal” direction is the additional announcement of a deal with Lockheed Martin. Lockheed is trying to sell the US Army on EEStor as part of their BattPack technology, which helps to enable “vehicular silent watch” and other mobile energy needs. The company’s claims are on the verge of unbelievability, if you read the comments of experts in energy storage. But they all admit that EEStor could have made a technical breakthrough in material science. At this point Kleiner Perkins, Mort Topfer, and Lockheed Martin have all seen something that is impressive.
