BSG Alliance Acquires Industrial Science

BSG Alliance Corporation announced today that they have acquired Houston-based Industrial Science, a business simulation frameworks and technology company. Earlier this year the formation of BSG Alliance was announced, followed quickly by news of a $20M funding event by Hummer Winblad, the acquisition of strategic consulting company The Concours Group, and the acquisition of collaboration software company Kalivo.

BSG is rapidly putting together the building blocks required to become a major consulting firm. The Concours acquisition provides the top-level strategic consulting aspect, and these other technology acquisitions seem to be the building blocks of the On Demand platform. These days you can’t just walk in to corporate America as a consultant and offer advice, you have to posses a toolkit of readily deployable pieces that can add value quickly. They seem to be building it very quickly.
